GC: So who is Percy Marshall ?
I’m a really kind fellow, intellectual, friendly, and spastic.
GC: So someone like you probably rides way too much?
On the contrary, I ride in spurts, but I actually don’t ride any more than most flat riders.
GC: What are your most influential riders ?
Mike Steingrabber with his hand gestures during contests, and Stephen Cerra.
I also like riding from Jesse Puente, Nathan Penonzek.
GC: Any long term goals in Flatland?
I just want to be able to do all the dream tricks like stuff that Trevor Meyer used to do with his direct drive. Backwards blenders, anything pedaling really floats my boat. Where I go is up to me though, and I think I’d like to visit some countries for flatland like Japan, but it’ll be on my own willing, it’s better that way.
GC: Based on some pictures, videos and comments i hear your a pretty crazy guy?
Yes, I have an extreme personality. When I do something, I do it %110. It’s hard to live with stability when my internal structure functions straddling
the borders of life’s extremes.
GC: Wow you were even interviewed for TV how did hat feel ?
That was great, I was finally able to give back something to flaltland, and likewise, to te officers who continually arrest me for riding my bike. I think alot of people became allies with me after seeing that, and the people in Edmonton need to know that it’s okay to flatland. I was pretty nervous physcially but also relaxed mentally, similar to how I do in contests.
GC: So we heard you performed self surgery, whats all that about ?
I am always doing things to test myself and this time it just had to be the self surgery on my hand cuz it had a foreign object deep inside it that I wanted removed. It’s pretty fun, not too crazy, just I like to explain it with a certain style that get’s people thinking. I love writing about that and things like the time I tried to eat a church, one brick at a time. None of hese are severe as they appear, their mostly horrendously embellished stories that are intended to inspire or make people laugh.
GC: Last trick you learned ?

GC: Best riding memory:
There’s so many. I remember riding with a detatched finger from a failed halfpacker. In the contest, my tricks were hard cuz it was only held back on
with stitches, so the bone would flip back and forth everytime I did a trick, and I had a huge splint on, to match my huge smile 
GC: Ok enough with the serious questions lets get down to business, whats the last thing that made you proud ?
Being valued by people. I try so hard to make people happy, and sometimes
I have to forget about some cuz they don’t mesh with me; but when they do,
and they understand what I’m all about, than I am proud. Like my inline hockey
team telling me to come to California for a tournament, how I need to take leader
role for the defense. I made a speach once for them just before we won our
dynasty; and since than they’ve really given me respect.
GC: What is your favorite food ?
Popcorn, cuz it’s so big after it pops, but so compact before, you can eat it ither way.
GC: Bush or Obama ?
Obama for sure. Bush is an idiot. A real life
living idiot. I think Obama is
crazy though, he never answers questions propperly, and he likes to ‘dance.’
GC: You must certainly have nicknames ?
Ya one is Scumar, but mostly just Sparf. I actually don’t like being called Sparf, but who would anyway? I guess it’s been reserved for me. My girlfriend
calls me poopy-nose cuz she once farted bare-arssed into my face when I was shmellin her bum bum checkin for shmelly bum disease. It was horrible but funny.
GC: Whats your plan for world domination ?
Well I don’t like any killing at all, so I’m anti-war. I think globally all the time, and I consider myself a deep character. If something happens than I simply take in the death toll of either situation, and make my decision from there; I want to have as many lives as possible. Like the war in Sudan. I think of how many people die horrible deaths there, and than likewise, how many people were killed as a result of Bush’s decision to invade Iraq. It’s a balancing scale for me; but I’m sort of glad I’m not making the big decisions cuz there’s so many variables to consider.
GC:. Last and final words from Percy?
Thanks man, thanks alot! I just want everyone to be happy. I know its not possible, but in dreams anything can be done, so dream well; and imagine a world without war or killing. That’s the one I would like to live in.
